How To Cook Crab With Coconut Milk

I am allergic to crabs, minsan kumain ako after few hours parang nag-evolve ang mukha ko pulang pula at namamaga at ang lakas ng tunog ng tibok ng puso ko buti na lang napainom ako agad ng gamot. Mula noon di na ako kumakain ng crabs ( alimango, talangka, alimasag) pero nagluluto pa rin ako kasi marami akong mga friends na gusto ito.

Mga sangkap:

  • 1 kilo alimasag
  • 4 tasang gata ng niyog
  • luya na kasing laki ng hinlalaki (hiniwa)
  • 3 butil ng bawang (dinikdik)
  • 1 maliit na sibuyas (hiniwa)
  • asin at paminta na panimpla

Paraan ng Pagluluto:

  1. Ilagay sa kaldero ang 3 tasa ng gata, luya, sibuyas at bawang at pakuluin habang hinahalo.
  2. Ilagay ang alimango, pakuluan hanggang sa maluto, idagdag ang dahon ng sibuyas, 1 tasa ng gata, asin at paminta haluin at patayin ang apoy pagkatapos ng isang kulo.
  3. Ihain habang mainit pa kasama ng kanin.

 

English Version

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo Crab
  • 4 cups coconut milk
  • thumb size ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

  1. In the pot put 3 cups coconut milk, ginger, onion and garlic then bring to a boil.
  2. Add the crab,  simmer until cooked while stirring occasionally, add the spring onion, 1 cup coconut milk, salt and pepper then simmer until done.
  3. Serve hot with rice.
