Lechon Paksiw

Tipikal sa handaang Pinoy ang lechon at madalas may tira ito, pero kapag may tira siguradong hindi masasayang dahil lulutuin naman ito bilang lechon paksiw.

Mga Sangkap:

  • 1/2 kilo lechon (hiniwa)
  • 1/2 tasa suka
  • 2 kutsara toyo
  • 3 butil bawang (dinikdik)
  • 1/4 tasa bread crumbs
  • 2 tasa tubig
  • 1 kutsarita asukal o ayon sa iyong panlasa
  • paminta durog
  • 2 dahon laurel

Paraan ng Pagluluto:

  1. Igisa ang bawang, ilagay ang lechon, paminta, suka, laurel, asukal at toyo, takpan at pakuluin ng 10 minuto sa mahinang apoy.
  2. Ilagay ang tubig, pakuluan ang lechon hanggang lumambot, haluin paminsan minsan.
  3. Unti-unting ilagay ang bread crumbs at haluing maigi, pakuluin hanggang medyo lumapot.
  4. Ihain kasama ng kanin.

English Version

Ingedients:

  • 1/2 kilo lechon ( cut to your desired size)
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or to taste
  • ground pepper
  • 2 pieces laurel or bay leaf

Procedure:

  1. Saute the garlic then add the lechon, ground pepper, vinegar, laurel, sugar and soy sauce, then simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
  2. Add the water and simmer until the lechon is so tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Slowly sprinkle the bread crumbs, give a good stir and simmer for few minutes until done.
  4. Serve hot with rice.
